KATHMANDU, AUGUST 4

Registrations have opened for the Asian Paints Champions Cup 2026, an all-Nepal inter-school football tournament for boys’ and girls’ Under-18 teams.

Organised by The Himalayan Times, the nationwide tournament is expected to bring together more than 300 schools and over 9,000 players from all seven provinces.

According to the organisers, the competition will feature separate U-18 boys’ and girls’ divisions, with the tournament scheduled to begin on September 1. The deadline for team registration has been set for August 15.

The event is powered by Ncell, with BYD serving as the mobility partner.

The organisers have called on schools across the country to register their teams before the deadline to participate in one of Nepal’s largest inter-school football tournaments.
