Manakamana Secondary School has won the Kathmandu Valley-wide Boys’ Football Tournament under the Asian Paints Champions Cup 2026.

In the final held today, Manakamana Secondary School defeated Mansalu World College 1–0 to clinch the title. Sanil Magar scored the only goal of the match to secure the victory for Manakamana.

Meanwhile, in the girls’ category, Laboratory Secondary School defeated Gyanmala English High School 2–1 in today’s match. Deepa Dahal scored both goals for Laboratory, while Regina Bishwakarma scored Gyanmala’s only goal.

In another match, AVM School defeated East Pole 7–0. Smriti Chand scored a hat-trick for AVM, while Shreyukta Ban, Ashika Upadhyay, Arushi Sharma and Kritisha Tamang scored one goal each.

With the victories, AVM School and Laboratory Secondary School have secured their places in the girls’ semifinals.

In the girls’ category, the first semifinal will be played tomorrow at 8:00 AM, with Laboratory Secondary School taking on Venus National College. The second semifinal will see Shangrila Public School face AVM School.
