Sixteen beauty queens from across the nation are all set to compete for the prestigious ‘Miss Universe Nepal 2021’ title.
The beauty pageant organizers Umang Creation announced all the participants in a program at Yak and Yeti Hotel at Durbar Marg on Thursday night. The program featured famous personalities from fashion industry, audience, and media personnel.
In the program, all the 16 contestants introduced themselves and their life ambition during a ramp walk on the red carpet.
The beauty contestants also presented a short video on subjects like women empowerment, child education, mental health, sex education, menstruation, suicide, and assault.
Ten contestants will be selected from these 16, based on 50 percent marks from their video and the remaining 50 percent from the voting through an IME app.
The top-10 will participate in various rounds to win the prestigious crown. The grand coronation will be held on October 30, 2021.
The ‘Miss Universe Nepal 2021’ title winner will represent Nepal at the ‘Miss Universe 2021’ pageant to be held in Israel on December 12, 2021.
