KATHMANDU — The Metropolitan Police Complex in Bhaktapur has apprehended three individuals who hurled abuses on Nikisha Shrestha in Kathmandu.
All three individuals are males below the age of twenty.
Preliminary interrogation of all the three is underway. According to SP Tara Devi Thapa of Bhaktapur, they have not decided whether to send all the arrested persons to the cyber bureau or prosecute them there. After the video of Nikisha being abused by a person on a motorcycle became public on social media, the police headquarters had directed the cyber bureau to investigate.
