Amid huge outcry from university students over government’s decision to conduct in-person examinations, Nepal has decided to vaccinate all the examinees against COVID-19.
All the university students with admit card for their upcoming examinations can receive their shots for COVID-19 vaccine at the vaccine centers.
The Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) has announced four centers to vaccinate the university students.
According to the MoHP, the COVID-19 vaccine centers are Radha Swami Center at Basundhara, Armed Police Force Hospital at Balambu, Birendra Sainik Hospital at Chhauni and Nepal Police Hospital at Panipokhari.
Students can also take vaccine at the Civil Hospital in Kathmandu.
Major universities in Nepal, including Tribhuvan University (TU), have been organizing in-person examinations for various streams at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
