Aarav Samrat Hada and Saloni Tamang won the titles of the Ganeshman Singh National Tennis Tournament here on Tuesday. Hada defeated Ritik Rana 6-3, 2-6, 6-1 in men’s singles final, while Tamang outplayed Prerana Koirala 6-3, 6-4 in women’s section final.
Pradeep Khadka and Anil Shahi won the men’s doubles title with a 6-4, 7-6 victory over Aki Zuben Rawat and Nihal Jung Bahadur Thapa.
Likewise, Kamal Bahadur Bhandari and Siman Gurung beat Niran Thapa and Lok Gurung 6-4, 1-6, 10-8 in above-35 doubles final.
Bimal Gurung defeated Caeser Gurung 6-1, 6-1 to win the above-45 singles title, while Chandra Shahi and Degendra Shrestha claimed the double trophy.
Also, Kamal Thapa and Chhamba Dhondup won the above-55 title. The tournament, which was organised by Ganeshman Singh Foundation and Bir Ganeshman Singh Sports Committee, carried a total purse of Rs 725,000.
Ganeshman Singh Foundation President and former Deputy Prime Minister Prakash Man Singh handed over the prizes to the winners.
