KATHMANDU: Nepali taekwondo and badminton players on Friday left for Bahrain to participate in the Asian Youth Para Games slated for December 2-6 in Manama.
Nepal is taking part in taekwondo and badminton in the Games, which features a total of nine events.
Paralympian Palesha Goverdhan (57kg), Bishal Garbuja (58kg) and Srijana Ghising (52kg) will take part K-44 category events in taekwondo, while coach Kabiraj Negi Lama accompanied the players to Bahrain.
Prakash Adhikari will participate in singles event under SL-44 category of badminton event. National Sports Council Board Member Nanda Basyal is the team leader.
