The CPN-UML has appointed Yogesh Vhttarai as the party’s new spokesman, and he is due to assume his new duties from Wednesday.
This is one of the steps that the party has undertaken to return to its former glory.
The UML Standing Committee met on Tuesday and realized that they had to restore the CPN-UML to the May 2018 party structure.
Bhattarai was the spokesman before CPN-UML, and CPN (Maoist Center) merged. He will be replacing Pradip Gyawali, who was the spokesman till Tuesday.
