Kathmandu, December 30
Seen in pictures below is Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli addressing a meeting of the Nepal Communist Party (NCP) members from Sudurpaschim Province close to his faction, in Kathmandu, on Wednesday.
The ruling NCP had split on December 22 after Prime Minister Oli recommended dissolution of the House of Representatives on December 20. The recommendation was then swiftly approved by President Bidya Devi Bhandari and what followed was the announcement of mid-term elections in April-May 2021.
