Israel has donated medical resources, including ventilators, to Nepal as the Asian country continues to combat the virus.
A Nepal Airlines airplane transported the equipment to Kathmandu from Tel Aviv on Thursday. In this package, 120 oxygen concentrators and 8 ventilators are included to save Nepali lives.
Yair Lapid, Israel’s Foreign Affairs Minister, said it was an honor for Israel to help Nepal during these challenging times. The statement was issued before the flight took from Tel Aviv and the Israeli embassy in Kathmandu released this information.
Hanan Goder, Israeli Ambassador to Nepal, oversaw the transfer of the medical supplies to the Nepal Health Ministry officials at the Tribhuvan airport on Thursday.
Previously, Israel sent COVID-19 medical supplies to the hospitals in Dhulikhel, Patan, and Bir. Nepal Police also received the Israeli medical supplies then.
