RAUTAHAT: Janata Samajawadi Party (JSP) cadres hit the streets of district headquarter Gaur to set ablaze the effigies of PM Oli and President Bhandari, denouncing Oli’s ‘autocratic’ move of lower house dismantling, this afternoon.
Slogans were also raised by party leaders and workers condemning Prime Minister KP Sharma labeling Oli’s December 20 move undemocratic and autocratic.
Although security personnel were mobilised to stop the previously scheduled demonstrations for the day, party workers succeeded in torching the effigies.
The demonstrations were held by the party to demand the reestablishment of dissolved HoR.
