The CPN (Maoist Center) decided to hold a standing committee (SC) meeting today.
The SC meeting was scheduled to be held at the central party headquarters, which is situated in Paris Danda. This was stated by the leader Lilamani Pokharel.
The meeting was initially scheduled for Tuesday afternoon. However, it was postponed due to a busy schedule.
The SC meeting will explore the national convention preparations. Additionally, it will select the candidates for ministerial positions who will participate in the incumbent government.
The national convention of the CPN (Maoist Center) would be held from December 26 to December 28. An SC meeting of the party was conducted on Monday.
It was decided, at this meeting, that mid-October would renew memberships. The party also planned to conduct a ward conclave on October 30 and a village conclave on November 20.
