Minimum temperature in Valley recorded at 2.8 degrees Celsius on Wednesday

KATHMANDU: Department of Hydrology and Meteorology recorded the minimum temperature of Kathmandu Valley at 2.8 degrees Celsius, as the temperature continues to dip.

Earlier on Tuesday, the temperature in the valley was measured at 3 degrees Celsius. It was 4 degrees Celsius on Monday.

Meteorologist Samir Shrestha said that the temperature has started falling gradually. The temperature would fluctuate for a few days, added Shrestha.

Likewise, people of some districts in western Tarai region are experiencing biting cold all of sudden.

According to Meteorological Forecasting Division, Kathmandu Valley’s minimum temperature is 2.8 degrees Celsius while the maximum temperature is recorded at 19.2 degrees Celsius today.

Meanwhile, Jumla recorded the lowest temperature at minus 7.1 degrees Celsius today.
