KATHMANDU: Main opposition party Nepali Congress has decided to protest nationwide against the dissolution of the House of Representatives (HoR).
The central committee meeting of the party held today took the decision that it would hold demonstration in 165 federal constituencies on December 28.
The protests would be organized by the working committees of the party in the federal constituencies.
The central committee meeting being held for two days with focus on latest political incidents will continue tomorrow as well. It will resume at 1:00 pm Friday, said party chief secretary Krishna Prasad Poudel.
In the meeting chaired by party President Sher Bahadur Deuba, Vice-President Bimalendra Nidhi and central members Prakash Man Singh and Arjun Narsingh KC put forth their views.
