KATHMANDU: Ministry of Health and Population shared the latest updates on coronavirus contagion from across the country.
Of the total 1,870,830 Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) tests carried out till date, 4,620 tests were performed in the last 24 hours.
At present, there are 421 people under quarantine in various facilities across the country. The number of active cases in Nepal is 8,320.

Similarly, the country registered 588 new cases of the coronavirus infection today taking the national tally to 253,772.
As many as 1,097 persons earlier diagnosed with Covid-19 have recovered in the last 24 hours. With this, the national COVID-19 recovery tally has now reached 243,664.
Meanwhile, there were 11 Covid-related fatalities reported today, with which the country’s COVID-19 death tally has now reached 1,788.
As of today, the country has witnessed 253,772 cases of coronavirus infection wherein 243,664 people have recovered, while 1,788 have succumbed to this disease.
