KATHMANDU: Ministry of Health and Population shared the latest updates on coronavirus contagion from across the country.
Of the total 1,896,250 Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) tests carried out till date, 5,510 tests were performed in the last 24 hours.
At present, there are 400 people under quarantine in various facilities across the country. The number of active cases in Nepal is 7,384.

Similarly, the country registered 613 new cases of the coronavirus infection today taking the national tally to 256,592.
As many as 739 persons earlier diagnosed with Covid-19 have recovered in the last 24 hours. With this, the national COVID-19 recovery tally has now reached 247,400.
Meanwhile, there were five Covid-related fatalities reported today, with which the country’s COVID-19 death tally has now reached 1,808.
As of today, the country has witnessed 256,592 cases of coronavirus infection wherein 247,400 people have recovered while 1,808 have succumbed to this disease.
