Nepal’s Ministry of Health confirmed that 1,239 new coronavirus infections have arisen.
Additionally, 13 people have succumbed to the viral infection on Thursday. Fortunately, 1,324 people have recovered from COVID-19.
Nepal currently has 20,743 active COVID-19 infections across the country. Of them, 19, 437 are recovering from the virus at home.
1,306 people are in isolation at institutions, while 340 are under intensive care. 111 are clinging on to their lives by being on ventilators. 246 are under quarantine at different facilities.
In the last 24 hours, about 15,243 people were tested for COVID-19. In addition, 11,629 people were subjected to the PCR method, and 3,614 people undertook the antigen test.
404 people in Kathmandu Valley contracted the deadly virus, while 245 people were from Kathmandu have fallen sick to this virus. In addition, 52 people in Bhaktapur and 107 in Lalitpur districts have become infected with the virus.
