The Nepal health ministry has recorded 3,075 in the last 24 hours. These new cases bring Nepal’s COVID-19 tally to 820,605 on Thursday afternoon.
11,946 people got tested for coronavirus via the RT-PCR method, and 2,321 samples returned positive. The positivity rate of PCR stood at 19.42, while antigen testing returned with 16.78 positivity percentile.
Additionally, 754 people tested positive for the viral infection via the antigen testing method.
With the current data, Nepal has 40,500 active infections across the country. 3,986 infected people were hospitalized and 739 infected are in ICU.
168 are fighting for their lives on ventilators. 22 mortalities were recorded in the 24 hours. Thankfully, 2,126 people recovered from the viral infection.
Till day, 691,299 recovered from the viral infection. However, 10,429 have succumbed to the infection. The recovery rate of Nepal stood at 93.1 percent, while the mortality rate of Nepal was recorded at 1.5 percent.
A total of 3,708,688 people have been completely vaccinated, while 4,817,985 were partially vaccinated.
