The city administration of Pokhara declared that it would be donating NPR 1 million for the medical treatment of mayor Man Bahadur GC.
The mayor experienced brain hemorrhage and was admitted to Neuro Hospital in Kathmandu. The city administration executives met on Tuesday and took the decision.
The city spokesman Dhan GC said the decided amount shall be disbursed from Disaster Management Fund.
The mayor was initially admitted to Manipal Hospital of Pokhara after he experienced problems with health. However, the same day, he was relocated to Kathmandu as the health condition was complicated.
Initial findings pointed at his high blood pressure as the culprit for the health condition.
