KATHMANDU, MAY 12

A three-member Nepali team is leaving for United Kingdom to participate in the World Unified Martial Arts (WUMA) European Championship to be held in Worcester on May 15.

Sanjay Raj Patuwar and Bhupendra Gurung will compete in the championship, while Nepal WUMA Kung-fu Association President Siddhartha Lama will accompany the players to UK as an official and judge.

Gurung is scheduled to fly on Friday, while Patuwar and Lama will leave for England on Saturday.

Association Senior Vice-president Sanjit Kumar Rai, Vice-president Munni Subedi and Secretary Ramesh Maharjan among others bade farewell the team on Thursday.
