Three arrested for suspected involvement in Udayapur crusher industry bombing

GHAIGHAT: Three persons have been arrested for their alleged involvement in the bomb explosion that occurred in the premises of a crusher industry in Triyuga Municipality-14 of Udayapur district.

The arrested have been identified as Ambi Pulami Magar (23), Yambar Bahadur Magar (32), and Dipak Chhetri (18) of Chaudhadigadhi Municipality-8 of the district.

An unidentified group had detonated a bomb at the Dhaplanga-based Kanchanjungha Golden Good Crusher on Monday night, informed police. The explosion had damaged property worth around Rs 1.5 million.

Immediately after the incident, a police team under the command of Superintendent of Police (SP) Bhim Bahadur Dahal, Chief of District Police Office, Udayapur, had been deployed to investigate the explosion.
