Nepal’s dream of winning an Olympic medal remained unfulfilled as the nation’s last hope Saraswathi Chaudhary exits from the Tokyo Olympics.
The Nepali athlete exited from the Women’s 100m Preliminary Round as she finished 8th with the timings 12.91 seconds.
With this, all the five athletes who represented Nepal at the Tokyo Olympics 2020 returned home without tasting success.
On Wednesday, Nepali national swimmer Gaurika Singh failed to qualify for the next round even though she set a new national record.
