KATHMANDU, OCTOBER 31
The Women’s Junior Table Tennis Training concluded here on Sunday. The seven-day training programme was organised by the All Nepal Table Tennis Association at two venues, Biratnagar and Kathmandu, with the theme of My Gender, My Strength.
A total of 26 participants took part in each venue. The event was supported by International Table Tennis Federation and ITTF Foundation.
The ANTTA also organised a tournament for the participants at the National Table Tennis Training Centre in Lainchaur.
Nepal Olympic Committee President Jeevan Ram Shrestha and ANTTA President Chatura Nanda Rajvaidhya handed over the certificates to the participants at the closing ceremony.
Shrestha, who is also the Member of Parliament, also inaugurated the office of the South Asian Table Tennis Association at the National Table Tennis Training Centre.
