United Kingdom donates COVID-19 combative medical equipment to Nepal

United Kingdom announced that they donated 260 ventilators and other medical supplies to Nepal. The Embassy of London announced this humane decision to help the landlocked country stave off the pandemic fatalities.

The supplies were flown to Nepal on Thursday afternoon from London. Also, 10 oxygen concentrators were added to the shipment by Non-Resident Nepalis Association, UK, and Nepali Embassy in London.

The Nepali Embassy in London is continuing its efforts to draw in medical supplies and vaccines from the UK government.

The Nepali envoy, Lok Darshan Regmi, met the Secretary of State for Defense and Secretary of State of Foreign for bilateral assistance to fight the pandemic. Regmi indicated that the results of these meetings would materialize soon.
