Will face no confidence motion: Bagmati Chief Minister

KATHMANDU: Bagmati Province government will face the no confidence motion that was filed by 46 lawmakers at the Provincial Assembly today.

Chief Minister of the Province Dor Mani Paudel said today that he will face the motion as these processes are normal in parliamentary affairs.

“They wanted to overthrow the government since the day it was formed and their approach has been likewise,” Paudel said.

The chief minister further said that the process will move forward with the commencement of the assembly.

The dissenting faction had blamed the Chief Minister of running the government unilaterally while filing the motion.

Both the sides now depend on the support of the opposition to form a government.
